Sea freight in Russia

Sea freight is in demand for deliveries to the country's remote regions, since the main railway line runs along Russia's southern borders. We handle such shipments as multimodal ones: a single contract, several modes of transport — rail, sea and road. Destinations: Sakhalin, Kamchatka, Magadan, the Kuril Islands and Novaya Zemlya.

Navigation along the Northern Sea Route is possible for about 3.5 months a year, from late July to late October or early November; with icebreaker escort it extends to 6–8 months. The peak shipping period is August, September and October.

Customs clearance

We assist with customs clearance of cargo. Please check the terms and timescales for your destination with your manager.
